IMUNE Licensed Therapists
The Biofeedback Association of North America is unable to accept IMUNE licensed practitioners as professional or insurance members at this time because our insurance carrier does not accept the IMUNE license for malpractice and general liability insurance. If and when you qualify for approved certification with BCIA, TLCTA or NTCB you may join BANA as a professional or insurance Member. In the meantime, an IMUNE license may qualify you on an individual basis for Internet or Associate Membership.
Caution: Not allowing IMUNE licensed individuals to become Associate Members of BANA at this time is because of persistent rumors IMUNE is a British Virgin Islands "paper mill" operation that grants licenses to poeople who are not qualified. Consequently, Associate or Internet Membership may not be available to IMUNE licensed professionals based on training and experience.
Restrictions on Membership
If you are currently licensed and practicing as a licensed medical doctor, medical homeopath, medical naturopath, chiropractor, dentist, veterinarian, psychologist, psychotherapist or counselor you are not eligible for BANA membership at this time. If you are currently licensed in any of the above professions you are eligible for membership as a Professional Member in either the Medical Biofeedback Association (MBACB) or the International Medical Association for Natural Therapies (IMANT).
